Today I'm sharing with you a card I made using new goodies from the SU mini catalog being released on Wednesday and also designer paper from the sale-a-bration catalog. Never before have I loved a designer paper as much as I do this pack! This pack comes with some gorgeous floral designs that are vintage and Victorian looking...as well as some patterns that have a more retro feel to it! I will definitely be stocking up on a few of these before sale-a-bration is over!
The stamp sets I used for this set are called Apothecary Art and Loving Thoughts. They are made to work perfectly together as well as to go with the new Framelits Dies Label collection. I particularly LOVE this sentiment simply because it's always been what my husband and I write to each other when we sign a card or write a note. It will definitely be used in my Valentine card to him. :)I started with a card base of early espresso CS. I then added some crumb cake CS that is sponged and I also used a scallop punch along the bottom.
DSP was then sponged and matted with early espresso CS> I added some crochet ribbon along the bottom with a decorative brad at the bow. The brad is also in the sale-a-bration catty. That was all adhered to the card using dimensional adhesive.
Next I stamped my image using early espresso craft ink. That was clear embossed, cut out and matted to a frame of early espresso. I adhered that the card using dimensional adhesive.
The image was stamped once more and I colored in the flower images. I also stamped the sentiment. Each of those pieces were cut out then adhered to the card using dimensional adhesive.
The inside was finished off by adding adding some DSP and a stamped sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
