My friend recently requested a few things for a friend that is expecting soon. I love it when she comes to me with special requests because she always has the best ideas! She wanted coordinating pieces....an altered notebook, personalized chipboard walling hanging and a matching gift tag in the colors of baby pink and brown. So this is what I came up with.....
I used SU designer paper and paired that with chocolate chip CS for each project.
The flowers were created using my nestabilities. Each layer was manipulated with my McGill tools to give them a realistic look and then covered with Tim Holtz distress crackle paint in rock candy so they would have a nice hard coating on them. I added a penalized brad in the centers.
The greeting on the notebook was printed out from my computer, then crackle paint was added to that to seal it.
The chipboard for the wall hanging is retired from SU. That was covered with the designer paper, then CS was added with dimensional adhesive in the center. I cut the letters from chipboard using my Bigz dies and covered them with craft ink and embossing powder.
The tag uses all the same materials...and a greeting from an SU set called Something to Celebrate.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
