Good morning all...the countdown is on! I can't believe Christmas is only 4 days away and I still don't have my gifts wrapped yet! I always have been so organized in the past and have all the wrapping done before the kids are out of school but with filling orders and working with FRG stuff for the battalion, time has really gotten away from me this year. Hopefully I'll be able to lock myself in my room later today and get all the wrapping done without much notice from the kids.
The cards I'm showing today were something I made for my neighbor using her professional family portraits. This year instead of traditional Christmas cards she wanted me to incorporate her photos and luckily she already had the envelopes she wanted to use so I just based the size of her cards off of her envelopes.
I used basic black for the BG then used the designer paper that she picked out for the BG. That was matted and added to the black.
Next I cropped down the photo to fit and matted it with some very vanilla CS. Black satin ribbon was added along the bottom and I adhered the photo to the card using dimensional adhesive.
The sentiment was printed from my computer onto some very vanilla CS then punched out with my SU large oval punch. I coated that completely with versmark and clear embossing powder to give it a nice hard coating. That was matted with basic black and added to the card using dimensional adhesive.
Lastly I punched out a few snowflake shapes, embossed them each with iridescent ice and added a clear crystal to the center. That was also added to the card with dimensional adhesive.

I also did a couple with an ornament accent instead of the snowflake...those were also embossed with iridescent ice.
I'm pleased to report that she loved the final result and hopefully her family and friends did to.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
